EDELRID SKYE KIT

The SKYE KIT is an ultra-comfortable via ferrata set comprising a climbing harness, via ferrata lanyard, and helmet. This includes the SKYE all-round climbing harness that features four buckles for a large adjustment range and optimally distributes the load thanks to its butterfly shape. The compact, tried-and-tested CABLE KIT via ferrata lanyard with wear-resistant, elasticated arms features an innovative fail-safe design and deploys in the event of a fall, even in the case of 180° misuse. The light, well-ventilated ZODIAC hybrid helmet protects the head.

• Elasticated webbing keeps carabiners close to hand
• Optimized OneTouch II carabiners prevent fingers getting pinched between the carabiner gate and steel cable
• Energy absorber conforms to EN958:2024: low impact force for all weight classes
• Complies with EN standard 958:2024, even in the event of 180° incorrect use
• Harness:
• Butterfly shape for increased hanging comfort and optimum load distribution
• Large adjustment range and universal use thanks to the four-buckle design
• Five gear loops, two attachment options for ice screw clips, and a chalk bag loop on the back
• Red wear indicator in load-bearing straps on the waist belt and leg loops, as well as in the central ring
• Slide Block buckle on the waist belt and leg loops can be fully opened to make the harness easier to put on when wearing skis or crampons
• Helmet:
• Large vents ensure a constant supply of fresh air
• Cradle folds into helmet to significantly reduce the pack size
• Fully adjustable chin strap with closure system positioned under the ear for greater comfort
• Overhauled Wing Fit system with rear adjustment dial fits all head shapes
